218/365. She has adapted so quickly to the move. She amazes me everyday with how she handles things.
219/365. I grew up playing on the caboose. It’s so fun to have these few months in my hometown with Gemma.

221/365. I used to love the “You Know You’re From a Small Town If” list. Sherman County met almost every criteria on the list, and my favorite was that you don’t give directions by street names. My parent’s house has always been “Turn at the depot, last house on the left.”
222/365. A trip to Portland for a birthday party meant a stop at my favorite store.
223/365. Fire season has been bad this year. Too many careless people. It’s especially stressful for the farmers who are just trying to get through harvest. We’ve measured too many acres lost to fire this year.
224/365. After a two month break, our photography club finally had a field trip! We met up at the Rose Cemetery to photograph the Perseids meteor shower! It was an amazing night filled with beautiful meteors, perfect weather and wonderful company. I even caught a few meteors!
