/365. We stayed in Edmonds on Thursday night so that we could ride the ferry on Friday morning on our way to Port Townsend. Gemma and Grandma were enjoying the sights.
/365. Our cousins were amazing hosts and planned lots of kid friendly activities for us to do. On Saturday, we visited the Marine Science Center. Gemma loved looking at all the fish!
/365. On Sunday, we rode the ferry over to Whidbey Island. The water of the Sound was so pretty and we had perfect weather.
/365. We reluctantly came home on Monday, but we made it in time for the amazing Fort Dalles Fourth fireworks show. This is one of my favorites! I love the falling sparks that almost look like rain.
/365. After our trip, we decided it was time to move Gemma to her big girl bed. We’ve kept her in her crib because she’s never tried to climb out of it, but nighttime has been a struggle and I thought maybe the change would make sleep more fun. So far, she’s had no trouble staying in bed, but the change has been a little scary for her. It will take some getting used to, but I’m so proud of her and how she’s handling things!
/365. Work took me down to Bandon and Brooks to look at blueberries this week. The best part of my job is the places I get to go, and the people I get to meet. It was a quick but lovely trip.
/365. I was afraid that the weather from the valley wouldn’t make it to us, but I’m so happy to have a rainy evening.
