Madi and I picked a gorgeous August evening for her first senior session. She was lucky enough to have a friend that hadn’t finished harvesting yet so we got to play in the wheat!

On these last few shots, we had an unexpected visitor. A passing farmer decided to stop and tell us we were going to start a fire where we were parked. He flustered me in the moment with his rudeness, but I wish I would have said that a) I’m a farmer’s daughter and I know what starts a fire, and b) I’m a professional and would never risk anything like that! We were parked in a safe spot, it wasn’t like we were joyriding through standing wheat! It was worth it though because we got these stunning sunset images.

It was so nice to see Madi and catch up. She has turned into such an exceptional young woman who I am so blessed to have in my life!
